Very good site dedicated to plastic scale modeling, maintained by Brett Green. Main focus is WW2 aircraft. This site is well known in the plastic hobby due to frequent updates (almost every day, year round) and it's lively discussion forums.

Plastic modeling site well known for it's reference section (with very comprehensive color charts) and it's monthly "magazine".

American site about the same topic, RC only. The site includes many experts to give advise to scale modellers. Large collection pictures from giant scale warbirds categorized on aircraft type and scale event calender in the US.

RC ScaleBuilder
One of the best online sources for scale model builders. Good articles on glassing, finishing and detaling as well as flying those nonforgiving warbirds. They also have lively forums, please see the thread on a highly modified TopFlite Fw190D-9 (recomended).
Hobby Shops

Hobby Loftet (Stjordal)
Excellent hobby shop in Stjordal 30km from Trondheim. The shop is owned and run by Morten Loftet which always has time for some RC model talk. He offers great stock of spare parts and he is very service minded. His big RC interest is helicopters.

Hobby Norge (Trondheim)
Hobby Norge, a good hobby shop for RC in the heart of Trondheim city center. Unfortunately they do not have their owm web page, but they sell the same as Smallsize in Oslo. This is Trondheim Modellflyklubb's main source for spare parts and Jero Fuel.
Gunnar, a fellow modeller from TrMFK is working part time in the shop and adds a lot experience in RC aircrafts. They sell full line of Hitech, Hangar 9 and Kyosho.

RC Flight (Eureka RC)
This is a result of the merge between Eureka RC and rc-flight.com. Kjell Aanvik, the owner of Eureka RC has always been a resource in scale modelling in Norway. Their current models is 40 to 60 size fiberglass ARF models called RC flight of Scandinavia, great flying aircraft. I have seen many of them flewn by Rune Nessen (which plane does not look nice when he flies). They also have another brand called Seriously Big Scale, sadly these are not warbirds, but large scale 3D stuff. RCflight also carry brands like JR, Saito, Dessert Aircraft, Hangar 9, Zenoah, Toni Clark and other stuff. According to Kjell there will more intersting scale stuff to come in the near future, which we are all looking forward to.

The 109 Lair
Excellent Messerschmitt Bf109 reference site which aims to become the single most comprehensive 109 reference on the internet. Hosted by the Hyperscale Hobbyvista portal.

This company, from The Czech Republic, produces probably the best electric scale warbirds available today. Very good scale appareance and flying characteristics.

Aerotech Models
This company, located in Minneapolis, produces some very well detailed RC scale warbirds. The kits come with carbon fiber fuselage and wing as well as complete hardware packages and retracts.

Chevron Perfect Paint
Most common paint for RC warbirds. It is polyeurethan based, colors match the federal standards (RAF, USAAF, RCAF and German). They also have very fuel proof clear finish prodects from glossy to dead flat (0% gloss). We have not found any shops in Norway that carry this product, please inform us if we are worng or if anybody starts selling it. FYI Tower Hobbies sells Chevron Paint.

This is a fairly young company with only one model in their lineup, the very impressive 1/5 scale Fw190A-8. According to their website there will be some pretty interesting models down the line.

This company offers relatively inexpensive scale warbirds. These are traditonal balsa and ply kits with some fiberglass parts.

US company that provides custom waterslide decals for scale RC models. They have delivered to champions of US scale competitions.
